At Connections Travel Group, innovation and partnership are at the heart of everything we do. Here’s how our corporate travel brand, CT Connections, is paving the way.
As the travel landscape continues to shift, we’re proud to see CT Connections remain ahead of the curve, delivering tangible value and future-ready solutions to clients across Australia. A prime example of this leadership? Their proactive approach to the upcoming Qantas New Distribution Capability (NDC) rollout.
From 1 July, Qantas will be enhancing its NDC program: a next-generation content distribution model designed to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and provide a more personalised traveller experience. Thanks to early investment and strategic foresight, CT Connections was the first Australian TMC globally to successfully book Qantas NDC content using Zeno by Serko.
This early adoption means we’re staying one step ahead, and so are our clients.
Why NDC Matters
NDC allows airlines to share richer, more dynamic content directly with travel agencies and booking tools, often unlocking exclusive rates, bundled offers, and better servicing options not available through traditional systems.
With Qantas moving away from legacy booking technology (EDIFACT) to a streamlined NDC model, the shift is significant, and clients of CT Connections are already reaping the benefits.
The Benefits for CT Connections Clients
We’re proud to be one of the TMCs in Australia ready to access Qantas’ Premium NDC (PNDC) channel, not just standard NDC content – unlocking the largest inventory available with Qantas. That means richer, more dynamic offers, greater flexibility, and a smarter booking experience tailored for corporate travellers.
As part of the Qantas Premium Channel, clients booking through CT Connections can expect:
- Average savings of up to 8% on domestic Qantas fares, on top of existing corporate discounts
- No EDIFACT surcharges, which will apply from 1 July to non-NDC bookings (up to $11.50 per sector)
- A seamless booking experience via Zeno or directly through our expert Travel Team
- Access to NDC-only perks, including bonus status credits, free seat selection for Bronze Frequent Flyers, and enhanced loyalty recognition
- Visibility into Qantas Points and Status Credits, improving transparency for travellers and travel managers alike
- Tailored offers and discounted fares for Qantas Business Rewards members
- Ongoing support from a TMC that is fully aligned with Qantas’ evolving distribution strategy
Ready for What’s Next
While others are still adjusting to these industry-wide changes, CT Connections is ready. Our team is trained, our technology is in place, and our clients can move forward confidently, knowing their travel programs won’t be disrupted by legacy system changes, like the retirement of the Qantas Channel.
At Connections Travel Group, we pride ourselves on being a future-focused business, and we’re proud that CT Connections continues to lead that charge in the corporate travel space.
